The Green River Killer

After the capture of Gary Ridgeway the media exploded in articles and movies about the killings. The media focused on how Gary Ridgeway did not receive the death penalty, and the issues about double jeopardy. Ridgeway was being charged in two separate states and potentially could have been sentenced twice, so many people were asking about the constitutionality of that. The media made some mistakes along the investigation including the mistaken identity of who at the time was thought to be the Green River Killer. A lifetime movie was made about the Green River Murders, and the clip below has some scenes from that movie.
